The practice currently receives 400 to 600 phone calls daily, and not all of them get through. Some parents call up to 17 times before reaching us. "As a pediatrician, one is accustomed to challenges" says Caviezel, "but now there's barely time even to go to the restroom. Some days, there are no breaks anymore.
