From January to May 2018, I completed my mandatory military service in the Swiss Armed Forces as a tank driver. During this period, I applied to take on the additional role of platoon photographer alongside my military duties. After receiving accreditation, I was able to document everyday life within the Swiss Armed Forces. This approach evolved into an ongoing project that I continued to pursue from my basic training throughout my subsequent annual military training.

In February 2021, I joined the press team and was officially appointed photographer for the Aufklärerkompanie 11. I completed my military service in May 2024, marking the end of this project.
